1. Scope of Services

Yankee Dumpsters provides waste disposal services for general mixed waste, recyclables, and non-hazardous waste. We are unable to handle hazardous waste, such as chemicals, batteries, and medical waste, etc.

2. Waste Acceptance Criteria

All waste must be properly segregated and labelled. General mixed waste must be placed in designated bins or containers. Recyclables must be sorted accordingly and placed in designated recycling bins. Non-hazardous waste must be packaged securely to prevent spills or leaks.

3. Prohibited Waste

The following types of waste are prohibited from disposal in Yankee Dumpsters:

• Hazardous waste
• Chemicals
• Batteries
• Medical waste
• Asbestos
• Paint
• Solvents
• Radioactive materials
• Explosives
• Firearms
• Compressed gas cylinders
• Flammable liquids
• Animal carcasses
• Food waste (excluding food scraps in compostable containers)

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Segregating and labelling all waste properly
• Ensuring that all waste is packaged securely to prevent spills or leaks
• Providing access to the Yankee Dumpster for loading and unloading
• Obtaining all necessary permits for waste disposal

5. Yankee Dumpster Responsibilities

Yankee Dumpsters is responsible for:

• Providing a clean and safe waste disposal service
• Transporting and disposing of waste in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Providing customers with waste disposal receipts

6. Payment Terms

Payments can be made up-front in the form of a credit or debit card. While cash payments are due upon completion of service.

7. Liability

Yankee Dumpsters is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the disposal of prohibited waste or improper waste handling by the customer.

8. Termination

Yankee Dumpsters reserves the right to terminate service to any customer who violates these terms of service.

9. Governing Law

These terms of service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom.

10. Entire Agreement

These terms of service constitute the entire agreement between Yankee Dumpsters and the customer. Any prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written, are superseded by these terms of service.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms of service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these terms of service and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
